Eligibility For Handloom Export Promotion council RCMC Registration

To be eligible for membership registration with the Handloom Export Promotion Council, applicants must be either exporters of handlooms and their allied products or manufacturers and exporters of handlooms.

Documents required for Handloom export promotion council registration

  • Self-attested photocopy copy of PAN card. Pan card of the proprietor, in the case of proprietorship, and for others, pan in the name of the firm
  • In the case of a Partnership firm, a photocopy of the entire Partnership Deed
  • Self-attested copy of Article of Association
  • In the case of a Joint Stock Firm or a Society of any other Corporate Body, a resolution on the letterhead of the company/ Society by the Board of Management of the Corporate Body
  • In the case of the Manufacturer’s Exporter, a Self-attested photocopy copy of the certificate indicates that a Manufacturer of handloom products and made-ups either from the State in charge of Handloom or from the SSI authority.
  • In case of the manufacturer exporter certificate from Udyog Aadhaar indicating as handloom Products or get an affidavit in Rs.10/- stamp paper duly attested by a Notary Public.

Applicants are required to pay the stipulated amount for online membership of the Handloom Export Promotion Council of India.

Procedure for HEPC registration

The Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued a notice stating that RCMC or RC must be filed electronically through their Common Digital Platform starting April 1, 2022. The notice also states that a new digital platform for issuing RCMC has been created, which will serve as a one-stop shop for all exporters and importers.

  1. Login to DGFT portal: After creating an account with your IEC code, you may use your login credentials to log in to the DGFT portal.
  2. Apply for RCMC registration: After logging in, you will need to go to the RCMC registration section of the portal. There, you will be asked to fill out an application form with information such as your company name, address, and PAN number.
  3. Upload supporting documents: You will also need to provide supporting documents, such as a PAN card, GST registration certificate, and certificate of incorporation.
  4. Submit the application: Once you have finished filling out the application form and uploaded all the necessary documents, you can send in your application.
  5. Approval process: Once you submit your application, it will be reviewed by the authorities. If approved, you will receive an RCMC certificate from the Handloom Export Promotion Council.
